Essentially an interactive workshop session delivered to the senior management team of a company, the International Strategy Workshop is designed to assist companies in developing a coherent international strategy and associated action plan for its implementation.

Eligible companies should have a turnover of £400,000 or more.

Description and how it can help

The workshop aims to leave the management team of the client company with a clear and shared understanding of the direction they are taking the business.

Delivery

The workshop is delivered to the senior management team on a one-to-one basis with an individual company.

Content

The workshop is designed to progress through the following topics:

  • Explore and flesh out the issues.
  • Identify the options.
  • Explore the strengths and weaknesses of the options.
  • Choose the best-fit option.
  • Build an action plan.

Any costs included

Depending on individual company criteria, funding can vary between 30 and 100 per cent.

These costs will be met by Scottish Enterprise.

Any partners or partnership working involved

This product is managed by Scottish Development International - funded by Scottish Enterprise and the Scottish Government.

Duration of the service

Typically the programme lasts one month.
